Free TradingView indicator
Limit Order + ATR Stop-Loss.
Map a planned limit or stop-limit entry, an ATR-based stop, and an optional profit target on a chart. It does not place an order.
Overview
Plan and monitor a hypothetical trade.
This interactive chart indicator lets you mark a long or short limit or stop-limit entry. It then plots an Average True Range (ATR) stop-loss and, if selected, a profit target. ATR measures recent price movement and supplies a volatility-based distance for the stop.
This is an indicator, not a broker order. A plotted entry, stop, target, or alert does not submit or manage an actual trade.
Entry setup
Choose price and direction.
When adding the script, select an entry type and place its point on the chart. You can drag the point or edit its price and other settings later. The script can show projected stop and target positions before entry; these may move as volatility changes. After its entry condition is met, it plots the active levels. A stop that already overlaps price on the entry bar can invalidate the planned entry.
Stop and target
Choose how the stop updates.
The ATR stop can update continuously, at each bar open using the prior close, only continuously after the entry bar, or remain static after entry. These choices can produce different historical and live paths. The optional target can be set by price or a risk/reward ratio. The settings also control whether a wick or close triggers entry, stop, and target conditions.
Alerts and limitations
Track conditions, not executions.
Optional alerts cover entry, a trailing stop hit, a target hit, and a failed entry. Custom alert messages can include values such as the stop, target, ticker, timeframe, and selected settings. The script can also show a settings table and be limited to the chosen ticker.
Review gaps, intrabar order, slippage, and brokerage rules independently. The indicator’s chart logic cannot establish the price at which a real order would fill.
